Seagreen 1A is an expansion of Scotland’s largest offshore wind farm, Seagreen, located off the coast of Angus. The expansion involves the installation of up to 36 additional wind turbines with a new onshore connection point, which together will increase the power plant’s capacity to up to 500 MW.

Ramboll has been appointed to provide EIA and consents coordination services for the onshore works associated with Seagreen 1A offshore wind farm.

Rambøll has assisted in many disciplines, including visualization, where we have produced illustrations, photomontages, and animations.

Applications for the necessary permits and consents have been approved. Construction has begun and is expected to be operational in 2026.
