When the double-track railway is completed on the Sandbukta-Moss-Såstad section, the number of departures to/from Moss can be doubled to four trains per hour throughout the day and five during rush hours. To facilitate this, parking facilities for up to 16 trains of 110 meters in length are required. Bane NOR is currently planning new train depot facilities in the Moss region. The Ministry of Local Government and Modernisation has determined that the train depot will be located at Gon.

Rambøll Visualization has supported this project by providing illustrations for technical reports and regulatory planning phases. We have also conducted drone photography of the area. Part of our scope included visualizing the light pollution impact from the depot facility on neighboring residents. To achieve this, we implemented accurate lighting sources for the entire project in close collaboration with Rambøll's lighting designers.
